Display Gaps !

A Gap is a quotation hole, a space in which there has been no exchange, it could be bullish or bearish. The gaps are classified into 4 categories :

• Common Gap, not significant and generally closed (filled) failry quickly,
• Breakaway Gap, indicating a change in trend or a breakout from an area of congestion,
• Continuation Gap, while in an established trend, the gap confirms the strength of the trend,
• Exhaustion Gap, appears at the end of a trend.

Description

The indicator displays Gaps on charts by indicating them with a colored rectangle.

The gaps can be selected according to 4 types of validation :

Different parameters can be adjusted to display gaps meeting your criteria. All these settings are made without modifying the code, in a very simple way in the configuration menu of the indicator.

Adjustable criteria :

• 4 Gap types validation,
• Number of scanned candlesticks.

Display options :

• Display closed gaps,
• Progressive closing of the gap within the stockprice evolution,
• Bullish and bearish gaps color independently,
• Gap transparency.
