A Marubozu is a Japanese candlestick pattern characterized by a full body with no upper or lower wicks in its classic form. It reflects strong buying or selling pressure during the period.
A bullish Marubozu forms when the opening price equals the low of the period and the closing price equals the high. Conversely, a bearish Marubozu opens at the high and closes at the low.

This pattern highlights strong buying or selling pressure. Depending on market conditions, it may accompany an acceleration of the current price movement.
The Marubozu Indicator identifies bullish and bearish Marubozu candlesticks directly on your ProRealTime charts. A green arrow appears below detected bullish candlesticks, while a red arrow appears above bearish candlesticks.
It allows you to visually spot these patterns without having to examine each candlestick manually.

Many parameters allow you to adapt the display to your own criteria. All settings can be adjusted directly from the indicator's “Configuration” menu in ProRealTime, without modifying the code.
